Wake up to the sound of kookaburras and the rooster, cockle doodle doing his thing. Then, off to start feeding. First the horses, big Samson the 2-year-old colt and the 2 naughty Shetland ponies, Delilah and Brutus the tank. Next, were off to feed and release the birds for the day, the ducks named Dave, Zorro, Sally and Sue, and the 11-guinea fowls. And now, across the bridge, and over the creek, to our sheep, most have names and can be hand fed, and then there's Stanley the alpaca who's quite entertaining to watch. It's also a nice place to sit and enjoy a cold ale late afternoon and watch the train go past experiencing that country life feeling.
The house is large, with 5 bedrooms down one end of the house, with seperate access and a shared bathroom, laundry and wc. One of the rooms has been turned into a common room of sorts with all you need for a non-contact stay if that's what you are looking for. If you prefer you can join us in the main kitchen or one of the 2 large loungerooms, looking out onto the paddocks, with no neighbors.
